Contemporary Dance Performance by Marion Darova
2017
Derida Dance Center presents:
Dance PORT Derida 2016/2017’s performance
TRAUMA
For our existence as a theatre of dialogue between our traumas.
For our tendency to go over traumatising experiences and derive pleasure from them.
For the pain, aesthetically realised in playful gestures, and developed as an art of communication and existence.
For the perversion as a trauma free of fear and horror.
For the trauma as a never ending resource for art.

In 2016 she creats Mainstream, her first chorographic project which is one of the three finalist in Tri3avisim 2016, organized by Guild for contemporary and performing arts. The performance is about the hardly perceivable, behind-stage obsession of people by the inertia overtaking our lives.
Dance PORT Derida is a one-year-long educational and training program for contemporary dance, developed by Derida Dance and financed by America for Bulgaria foundation. The participation in the program is free and suitable even for people with no previous experience but with dance potential.
