DEAR

Barely any other theme has this significance in the theatre, this density of adaptations and this weight of (co-)meaning. How far can I undress desire on a stage? How authentic can it be? How wasteful, brutal and still dangerously brittle? What is it that we desire and does the other really desire what we expect from them? DEAR is not only a performance of gestures in space. It is a performance of questions and experiments, a search for the essence of what it is that attracts men. In one hour on stage „desirers“ from real life stand front of an audience and deal with their disillusioning reality and their hidden desires.
